It happened to someone in my guild today. She reported it to TNT and is now frozen...for her too late "protection" that is. Here's her post from the guild board: "Hey all! I had some 1np nf only auctions to advertise my shop a bit and well.. 'Bid : 2 NeoPoints, placed by otherpet4.' I have not been online all day, and have nf request blocked. Also anyone that mailed about being my nf i just ignored... Which means the only way was to break into my account, request theirselves.. and then bid.. It's also just a 3 day old account ¬_¬ Also! I looked and i had no neofriends! Which meant they deleted themselves after thinking that i wouldnt know its them. - tnt usually give out mails on who won auctions etc.. Anyway i have reported this to tnt which means i may be frozen.. I might just self ice at the moment and come back in a few weeks? (hopefully). It would give me other stuff to do anyway. + losing 5 mill is a bit draining.. I was shocked after having such a great day today (away from neo). Just ruins the day you know? I have sent my bd items to my sister so even if i never get my account back again i will still have something It seems that i was targetted.. I looked up other peoples nf only auctions who do the same as me and they still have their items up with no bids of course.. Anyway i'm not sure what will happen so i'm noting down stuff to get my account back. " *cry*

I decided to do 1np auction again. This time, having neofriends request open. I am risking a lot but decided that if I go down, I will go down without fearing them.

I can't remember for sure but I think Chris had friend requests blocked for sometime, if so there is your potential theory out the window.

If Chris also had friends request, then my theory is verified further. Neofriends blocked = hacked Neofriends not blocked = not hacked yet.

What needs re-wording? I think he had them blocked, and for quite sometime, I don't know for sure though as obviously it's not my account. You can't base it on these 3 incidents anyway :P Either way I think it nothing short of stupid to be running auctions still for now

His theory is that if someone has their nf requests open, they would not get their nf hacked. And since your friend had theirs blocked, it verifies that his theory was correct. :P

Excuse me, i've had 4 hours sleep so i'm beyond being in a crap mood right now and could quite easily lose my temper. I'm not saying that it doesn't "back" his theory. The above is typoed, because ffs, as I said, FOUR hours sleep, like 6 or something the night before, i'm half dead! I'm saying you can't make a decision based on 3 people. Plus I already said i'm not 100% sure he has them blocked, i'm not exactly hot on all aspects of my boyfriends account afterall it is HIS account. To conduct a "proper" experiment you would need more stats than 3 people *unsure*
