I was bored one night and I remembered how fun it was to run and maintain a shop on neopets, so I decided to try and get my 5 year inactive account back. I guess I didn't realize how hard that would be. So, a little background information first... I made this account when I was 9 years old. My baby sitter showed me Neopets and set up my account with her email since I did not have one. About a week ago I tried to get back the account. I sent in a email asking if it was even possible to get a long inactive account back. 2 days later a Neopets staff emailed with a form to send in. This form included what was your last remembered password, neofriends you remember, what is in your safety deposit box/bank and so on. I answered all of these questions but I couldn't send the form through the email the account was set up on for the reasons listed above. They then replied saying I had sent no information to them. This made me think that they just skimmed through the email and didn't actually read it. So I sent another one again explaining why I couldn't send them the form with the original email account. I also included more information like my pin number and what is in my inventory. They replied back to me another 2 days later saying " Sorry, we can't help you" I can see why they are so stringent on giving accounts to people that have been inactive for a long time, but come one! I gave all of the information they had asked for, except for the email address. Even then I remembered the last word of the email address. I guess I will have to start a new account I can still look up my account and it is still there. --- Check out my shop for all of your Neopets food and drink needs yeah but the account details like mod notes are probably gone. This site works in a same way too. After a certain time, old inactive stuff is purged to keep the database tables smaller ----------------------------- Starting over isn't that bad. Was your old account worth a lot? A little irrelevant but mean tree what happened to making Neomallers a kid-friendly site? Petpet Paradise Well, my shop size was 30. This won't be hard to get back. But I had like 250,000 neopoints and a transmogrification potion. Don't know how much that potion is worth now a days. --- Not much. Petpet Paradise NeoMallers should be G saudor wrote: NeoMallers should be G Yes it should, but am I correct that though it should be kid-friendly it will not become geared towards kids like neopets has, since you don't want to deal with the COPPA things? ----------------------------- test Protons have mass? Holy crap that spammer posted a lot! I didn't know they were Catholic!

I think probably because the records of the account purge (I.e. reasons for why they were frozen ,etc)
P.S. thanks for inadvertently bringing that to my attention
*goes to fix code*
