After the program loads and processes the shop front, and I click over to "Manage Item Database", when I do a search for sold out items, it lists ALL of them as sold out. It's not recording the quanity in the shop. I spent about 5 hours yesterday going down the database list and editing each entry individually to change the desired quanity to 1 of 1, so all were in stock. After doing that, I ran the "check for out of stock" and it worked (slick! Cool! :)). BUT the next time I loaded in my shopfront, it reset all my edited stuff right back to the beginning and said they were all out of stock again - so, 5 hours wasted. Gaaah!!! It was really cool for that one moment in there when it did it right (after I manually edited over 400 items).

Is there a way to tell the entire database I only want to stock 1 of each item, not 3 (so I won't have to edit every item individually) and is there a way to make it take note of which items in my shop ARE fully stocked? Just FYI: I can't alter any configuration settings or customize any default settings, because my version does not have any tabs or buttons that let me do that. It doesn't follow (or even look like) the tutorials. See my thread on Configuration Settings for more info on that.

Bottom line, though, it looks like if I can get it working it's going to be an AMAZING program! And fun to use, too! So I am really hoping to get it up and running. :D]]>

For example, the button that is supposed to let you change the default quantity for how many items you want to keep in stock. The default is set to 3, but I want to change it to one. I did try to follow the tutorial, but the option is not there. There is no way to access the "advanced settings" or "configuration settings" it spoke of, in fact, there is no way to change any settings at all. The settings tab I have only controls cosmetic features & tutorials. The "Portol" button is also missing. I was instructed to click that button (it said it was "located in the upper left corner") in one of the tutorial steps, but the button does not exist in my version. I just have to "go back" and click on things until I get to the desired screen. Can someone explain this to me? Is it a bug? A missing link? ???

Having done a search on the board I've tried a few fixes. So far I've:
redownloaded & installed the core files.
ran both update1 and the update.exe
Rebooted numerous times after each.

I haven't gone in to safe mode, because I don't understand how.

I got 2 times (before and after reinstalling my complete system) the Vundo trojan from this software. And I am 100% sure it was from this software.
